Mission Statement

The Club will be known as Alderley Edge Nomads Junior Football Club.

The prime objective of the Club is to encourage young people in and around Alderley Edge to play Association Football and to provide the facilities and environment to enable both the development of their footballing skills and their participation in organised games with other teams of similar age.

The Club will not discriminate at any time against any young person joining the club or participating in Club activities on the grounds of nationality, sex, race or creed, subject to guidelines laid down by the Football Association with regards to mixed sex teams.

The Club will at all times uphold the benefits of participating in sporting activity and of teamwork and the true value of sportsmanship on and off the field of play.

The Club will be affiliated to the Football Association through membership of Timperley & District Junior Football League and the Cheshire County FA

Code of Conduct for Players, Parents, and Supporters

Adults - please remember Young people are not playing to satisfy your ambitions.. Young people are involved for their enjoyment - not yours! ! You have a responsibility to encourage young people to play by the rules and spirit of the game. Never ridicule or shout at a young person for making a mistake or for losing. Praise them - or keep quiet. Set an example – applaud good play by both teams. Never publicly question the referees decisions. Never doubt his honesty or integrity. Do not allow your winning side to gloat over their victory.

Players - please remember Recognise the value and importance of the coaches who give up their time to help young people. Help remove all verbal and physical abuse in soccer. Teamwork and effort are as important as winning. You should accept losing without undue disappointment So much good work can be undone by one unsavoury incident. Please act responsibly.
